Bobby Flay’s burger sauce is a zesty blend of mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, ketchup, pickles or relish, and spices. It’s creamy with a punch of acidity and sweetness, offering the ideal balance to complement the richness of a juicy burger.

Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise – ½ cup

  • Ketchup – 2 tablespoons

  • Dijon mustard – 1 tablespoon

  • Pickle relish or finely chopped pickles – 2 tablespoons

  • Smoked paprika – ½ teaspoon

  • Hot sauce (optional) – a few dashes, to taste

  • Fresh lemon juice or vinegar – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt and pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • Combine base ingredients – In a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard.

  • Add pickles and spices – Stir in pickle relish, paprika, and hot sauce.

  • Brighten with acid – Add lemon juice or vinegar for tanginess.

  • Season and taste – Add salt and pepper as needed, adjusting flavor to your preference.

  • Chill for best flavor – Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
